I have been Involved with radio for coming up to 13 years

Reason for getting in to radio?:

 Radio started for me after I had been in hospital for back surgery, My son Robert was given a cassette for me to listen to…It was Daniel O’Donnell … Unsure of whether I was up to Listening to music after having recently become a widow And having had major surgery… It was a dark time for me. However after listening to Daniel I was somehow compelled To respond, so I wrote to Daniels Australian fan club president In Adelaide, She responded to my letter by asking me if she could send the heartfelt letter on to Daniel himself. Daniel rang to see how I was and the rest is history. The Daniel O’Donnell and Friends program was born WITH Daniel himself asking if we would give his friends a ‘’WEE TURN

Personal Likes:  

My family first and foremost. Music from any genre. Gardening when fit and well. Swimming. Going to life concerts. Presenting the radio programs knowing just how many people you bring pleasure to. Genuine friends sure we all have many acquaintances but can count our true friends and be blessed.

Personal dislikes:

People who pretend!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those who don't really know about life in general and those who tell untruth..

Favourite Music:

Once again Any genre but have a tendency to listen to Dutch music being my mother language

Hobbies:

Gardening. Looking after my grandchildren spending quality time with them. Computer. Music Crocheting .Knitting and any craft. 

Brief Bio: 

Born in Holland was 15 when my late parents migrated to the best country Australia.

Married to Max (Australian) for 35 yrs and one week ,(Widowed) Three children two grandchildren.

Thanking our son Robert for getting me into radio at my age (then) was something I would never have believed. Also the amount of work I am able to do on the computer once again have to thank our daughter Samantha and her husband (my other son) Jamie.

What else about me?:

Not a great lot to tell just a happy go lucky person although my birth sign will tell you I am very impatient and stubborn (ARIES)
